Privacy Policy

The short version

Preptide is built local-first. Your protocols, dose logs, and the biometrics you enter by hand are stored on your device, not on a server we run. We don't sell your data, and we don't use your health information for advertising.

What we collect, and where it lives

Stored on your device only: the compounds and protocols you add, your dose and injection history, injection site rotation, and any weight or waist measurements you enter manually. None of this is transmitted to Preptide's servers, because Preptide doesn't run servers that store it.

Accessed through Apple HealthKit, with your permission: blood pressure and resting heart rate, if you choose to connect HealthKit. This data is read for display inside the app and is never used to target the telehealth offers described below.

Standard account and device data: if you sign in with Apple, we receive the identifier Apple provides. We may also process basic, non-identifying diagnostic data (crash logs, app performance) through Apple's own developer tools to keep the app working properly.

Telehealth partner offers

Preptide may show optional offers from telehealth partners inside the app. These are never required to use any tracking feature. If you choose to use a linked partner, Preptide may earn a commission. This is disclosed on the offer itself, not buried in a settings page.

Your health data (HealthKit readings, dose logs, biometrics) is never shared with these partners as part of that arrangement. Any information you choose to share directly with a telehealth partner, after leaving the app, is covered by that partner's own privacy policy.

Newsletter and marketing emails

If you sign in with Apple, we already have the email address Apple provides — that happens regardless of whether you subscribe to anything. We don't send you anything unless you opt in.

If you opt in to the Preptide newsletter (on by default after onboarding, adjustable anytime in Settings), we send your email address to Kit, an email delivery service, so it can send the newsletter on our behalf. Kit only ever receives your email address and a label identifying you as a Preptide subscriber — never your protocols, dose logs, HealthKit data, or anything else from inside the app.

You can turn this off anytime in Settings, or unsubscribe from the link in any email we send.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal or health information to data brokers or advertisers.
• We don't use HealthKit data for marketing, and Apple's guidelines prohibit this outright.
• We don't build advertising profiles from your dosing or protocol history.
• We don't use your protocol or health data to power any email you receive — the newsletter only ever knows your email address.

Your choices

You can disconnect HealthKit at any time in iOS Settings. You can delete your data by deleting the app, since it's stored locally on your device and isn't retained on our servers afterward. If you'd like help with a data request, email us at the address below.

Children

Preptide is not directed at children. It's intended for adults managing their own peptide, GLP‑1, or TRT regimens, and isn't designed for use by anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is handled, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged inside the app.
